Who we are

Reloka is a student relocation preparation platform. We help you search destinations, plan your move, track tasks, and organize documents before you study abroad.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide and limited usage data to run the service:

• Account data: email address, name, and authentication credentials
• Profile and journey data: destination country, city, university, intake date, savings, checklist, timeline, and preferences
• Documents you upload: files you choose to store in your private document vault
• Optional integrations: public Duolingo username if you connect language progress
• Payment metadata: subscription status via Mayar when you upgrade to Pro
• Usage analytics: anonymized product events when analytics is enabled (e.g. PostHog)

Your documents are private

Files you upload are stored in private, access-controlled storage. Each file is tied to your account and is not publicly accessible.

Reloka is not affiliated with any university, embassy, or admissions office. We do not automatically upload, transmit, or submit your documents to universities, visa authorities, or third-party application portals.

Your document vault exists for your personal organization, reminders, and preparation only. You control what you upload and may delete files at any time from the Documents page.

How we use your information

We use your data to:

• Provide and personalize your study plan, checklists, and relocation tools
• Store and display documents you upload
• Process subscriptions and send service-related communications
• Improve Reloka through aggregated analytics
• Respond to support and legal requests

Third-party services

We rely on trusted providers to operate Reloka, including Supabase (authentication, database, and private file storage), payment processors (Mayar), and optional AI or analytics services. These providers process data according to their own policies and our instructions.

Retention and deletion

We retain your data while your account is active. You may delete individual documents at any time. You may permanently delete your account from Settings, which removes your profile data and uploaded files subject to backup retention limits.

You may also request deletion or export assistance by emailing legal@reloka.app.

Children

Reloka is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page with an updated date.
